About

Tactically rides tech/semiconductor trends with 3x ETFs, buys dips when calm, hedges or flips short when fear spikes, and in panics rotates to long/short Treasuries. Decisions use trend lines and a simple 0–100 “heat” score.
NutHow it works
Two engines decide what to hold daily. 1) A chip/tech engine watches a fear gauge (UVXY) and a chip ETF (SMH). Calm: buy the dip in 3x tech/semis (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL=3x chips). Choppy: add hedges (SHY=short‑term US bonds, UUP=US dollar, VIXM/UVXY=volatility). Big spikes: flip to inverse funds (SOXS/SQQQ). 2) A fund‑surfing engine: when calm it buys the most beaten‑down ETF in a small list; in panics it trades long/short 20‑yr Treasuries (TMF/TMV). It uses trend lines and a simple 0–100 hot/cold score (RSI).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~56% annualized return vs SPY’s ~21%; harnesses 3x tech/semis in calm markets with dynamic hedges and Treasuries in panics. High upside, but also higher drawdowns—best for investors who tolerate volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
