About

Two‑engine, tactical strategy that rotates among leveraged tech/semiconductor funds, SPY/QQQ, Treasuries, the dollar, and volatility hedges. It uses a fear gauge plus trend and overbought/oversold signals to ride uptrends, buy dips, or hedge/short in turmoil.
NutHow it works
Reads a “fear gauge” (UVXY = volatility fund) to choose low/med/high‑vol paths. When calm, it rides tech/chips (TQQQ = 3× Nasdaq‑100; SOXL = 3× semis) and sometimes top chip stocks. When fear rises, it shifts to short‑term bonds (SHY), the U.S. dollar (UUP), or UVXY, and may bet against chips (SOXS = 3× inverse). Trend (moving averages) and an overbought/oversold meter (RSI) time entries. A second sleeve “surfs” SPY/QQQ/tech or long/short Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical regime-switching strategy targets ~57% annualized returns vs ~21% for the S&P, with a strong Calmar ratio for better risk-adjusted performance—larger upside, but higher drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
