About

Trades stock‑market volatility around SPY using simple signals. In uptrends it often shorts volatility (SVIX); during stress it buys volatility (VXX/UVXY) or anti‑beta (BTAL). In downtrends it shifts to BTAL, T‑bills, gold, energy, and commodities to keep correlation low.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Check SPY’s trend (above/below its 50‑day average). - Uptrend: Use simple “speed” gauges (RSI, short EMAs) to decide if vol is likely to calm or spike. If calm: hold SVIX (profits when volatility falls). If stress: rotate into VXX/UVXY (benefit from vol spikes) or BTAL (anti‑beta). - Downtrend: Avoid stocks; favor BTAL plus T‑bills (BIL/SHV), gold (GLD), energy (XLE), and commodities (COM). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
