About

Daily, a risk‑on/risk‑off switch. It buys strong stock/tech funds (often 3x) when trends are healthy; when overbought or weak it rotates to volatility hedges, short ETFs, bonds, or cash. Also rotates among recent winners in YieldMax single‑stock income ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day the rules flip between offense and defense using RSI (a 0–100 speedometer of buying vs. selling) and trend (20/200‑day averages). In uptrends it holds SPY/QQQ or 3x versions (UPRO/TQQQ, TECL/SOXL). Overheated? It hedges with VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY) or cash (BIL). Weak trends shift to shorts (SH/PSQ), anti‑beta (BTAL), or bonds (BND/TLT/IEF). It also screens YieldMax income ETFs tied to big single stocks and buys recent winners. Equal‑weighted.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Sharpe 0.28 vs SPY 1.45, annualized return 2.3% vs 30.5%, max drawdown 26.6% vs 12.1%. It’s a diversification and tail-risk hedge across regimes, not a pure growth engine.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
