About
A two‑part, all‑weather plan: a tech/AI momentum sleeve that follows trend and buys extreme dips, plus a sleeve that sits in short‑term bonds and briefly flips to a volatility spike fund when markets get too hot.
It splits money in two. 1) Growth: follow the long‑term trend (200‑day average). In uptrends, own the stronger of QQQ (big tech) or BOTZ (AI/robotics) unless it’s too hot, then hedge (PSQ). In downtrends, buy big dips (QLD or SPY) or rotate into QQQ/shorts/bonds (SHY). 2) Shock‑absorber: sit in short‑term bonds (BSV) but briefly jump into a fear/volatility fund (UVXY) when markets look overheated. Signals use a simple hot/cold meter (RSI) and 5‑day momentum.
All-weather two-sleeve strategy blends AI/tech momentum with a bond shock absorber. Out-of-sample: Sharpe ~1.50 vs SPY ~1.40; drawdown ~12% vs ~19%; beta ~0.64; Calmar ~1.74. Stronger risk-adjusted returns and steadier drawdowns than S&P 500.
