About
A one-position, market-timing strategy that rotates among tech, AI, defensive bonds, and bearish funds based on trend, short-term momentum, and rebound signals.
This strategy holds just one investment at a time and switches based on market weather.
If the U.S. stock market looks healthy, it buys either the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) or the AI/robotics fund BOTZ—unless tech looks too overheated, in which case it briefly bets against tech with PSQ.
If the market looks weak, it looks for a sharp “oversold” drop to buy a rebound (QLD or SPY). If no rebound setup appears, it may move to a defensive choice like short-term Treasuries (SHY), or bet against stocks using PSQ or SH.
Out-of-sample: 30.6% annualized return vs 19.9% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.23 and Sharpe ~1.20. A disciplined, single-position, regime-driven rotation targets AI/tech upside while managing risk for higher growth.
