About

A tactical, AI‑tilted strategy. It checks the market’s long‑term trend, then rotates between big‑tech (QQQ) and AI (BOTZ), fades overheated rallies, buys sharp dips, or goes defensive with inverse ETFs and short‑term Treasuries.
NutHow it works
1) Regime: Is SPY (S&P 500) above its 200‑day average (long‑term trend)? If yes, own the 5‑day winner of QQQ (Nasdaq‑100, big tech) or BOTZ (AI/robotics), unless QQQ’s 10‑day RSI (0–100 heat meter) >81, then hold PSQ (inverse QQQ). 2) If SPY is below its 200‑day: if QQQ’s RSI <30 buy QLD (2× QQQ); else if SPY’s RSI <30 buy SPY; else if QQQ < its 20‑day avg, split 50/50: (PSQ or SHY—1–3yr Treasuries) and (SH—inverse S&P or BOTZ); else hold QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 32.66% vs SPY's 22.17%, with a Calmar ~1.31 and Sharpe ~1.25. AI/tech regime switching captures stronger upside while managing risk, delivering higher risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
