About

A tactical, AI/tech‑tilted strategy that flips between offense (QQQ, BOTZ, occasional 2× QLD) and defense (PSQ, SH, SHY) using market trend (SPY vs 200‑day), a short‑term “heat” score (RSI), and 1‑week momentum. Usually one holding; sometimes two.
NutHow it works
1) Trend check: if SPY sits above its 200‑day average price, it’s an uptrend; otherwise a downtrend. (An average is the mean of the last X days.) 2) It uses a 0–100 “heat” score (RSI over 10 days): >81 = very hot; <30 = washed‑out. Uptrend: if QQQ is very hot, it hedges with PSQ; else it holds the 1‑week winner of QQQ or BOTZ (AI/robotics). Downtrend: if QQQ is washed‑out, it buys QLD (2× QQQ) for a bounce; else if SPY is washed‑out, it buys SPY; else if QQQ is below its 20‑day average, it splits 50/50 between (PSQ or SHY) and (SH or BOTZ) based on short‑term strength; otherwise it holds QQQ. Typically 1 holding; sometimes 2.
CheckmarkValue prop
An AI-driven tactical strategy delivering ~33% annualized return out-of-sample vs ~22% for the S&P, with a Calmar ~1.32. It cycles between offense and hedges, trades only on regime signals, offering higher upside with disciplined downside control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
