About

Equal-weight, tactical plan. In bears it buys sharp 5‑day dips with 3x Nasdaq/S&P or hides in a defensive basket; in calmer markets it runs a 55/45 3x stocks/3x Treasuries mix. A second sleeve “surfs” the most oversold funds by RSI, pivoting to Treasuries when fear spikes.
NutHow it works
Two sleeves, split equally. Core: If the past year’s S&P drawdown >10% (bear), buy 5‑day dips in Nasdaq/S&P with 3x funds—else sit in a defensive mix (USD, gold, staples, short Treasuries). If not in a bear, run a 55/45 3x stocks/3x long‑Treasuries mix when calm; otherwise the defensive mix. Sidecar: Buy the “coldest” fund by RSI (0–100 hot/cold meter) unless fear (UVXY) is high, then trade 3x Treasuries or pick the two coldest funds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~37.5% vs SPY ~22.8%; leverages dips and regime shifts for higher upside, with risk-off hedges. Max drawdown ~54% vs ~19%—suitable for investors willing to endure higher volatility for growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
