A fast-moving, high-risk strategy that tries to buy sharp dips in leveraged stock funds, then falls back to rotating among beaten-down stock, bond, volatility, or commodity funds.

This strategy checks every day for sharp recent drops in aggressive stock funds, especially tech, semiconductors, and the S&P 500. If one looks unusually beaten down, it buys it, hoping for a bounce. If not, it rotates into whichever fund in its watchlist has recently fallen the most. In rough markets, it may shift into volatility, Treasury bets, or sometimes commodities.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
