About
A daily, high‑octane, semiconductor‑focused, contrarian strategy. Uses RSI (a 0–100 “heat” gauge) and bond signals to fade extremes: buy VIX when stocks look too hot; otherwise go long or short 3× tech/semis. Expect big swings and deep drawdowns.
Each day it checks market “heat” and mood. RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge: high=too hot, low=too cold) on stocks and bonds guides moves. If the S&P 500 looks too hot, it buys VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY) to bet on a pullback. Otherwise it rides or flips tech/semis with 3× ETFs (SOXL/TECL long, SOXS/SQQQ short), usually picking the more beaten‑down option for a rebound. Very high risk.
Out-of-sample: ~106% annualized returns vs ~22% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.41 and Sharpe ~1.25. Expect big swings and drawdowns up to ~75%, but potential for outsized gains in tech/semis vs the S&P.
