About

A daily, semiconductor‑focused tactical system. It gauges market “heat” and bond tone, then flips between 3x long semis/tech, 3x inverse bears, or volatility funds when the S&P looks too hot. Very high risk due to leveraged and VIX products.
NutHow it works
It rebalances daily using RSI (a quick “hot/cold” score of recent price moves). First it reads bonds: if IEF (7–10y Treasuries) looks stronger than BIL/SHY (short Treasuries) and SPY is very hot (RSI>75), it puts ~80% in UVXY/VIXY (volatility funds that jump when stocks drop); otherwise it rides 3x growth via SOXL/TECL. If that bond read flips, a second check (SHY vs HIBL) decides to go 3x inverse via SOXS/SQQQ or stay long.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~95% annualized return with Calmar ~1.27 vs SPY’s ~22% return and ~19% max drawdown. Strong upside with volatility hedges and leverage, but expect higher drawdowns and complexity vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
