This strategy checks the market every day and shifts among a few aggressive bets. Most of the time, it tries to ride fast-moving areas like semiconductor stocks, the U.S. dollar, or commodities. If the broad market looks overheated, it buys volatility funds that can rise when markets get shaky. If conditions are unclear, it parks part of the money in a defensive fund designed to hold up better during stock-market stress.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
