About

Aggressive, daily‑tactical mix that rotates among the U.S. dollar, semiconductors, commodities, and volatility. Buys VIX on S&P spikes, flips bull/bear on semis on selloffs, otherwise parks in bills or defensive BTAL.
NutHow it works
Daily, it splits money into 3 sleeves. About 60%: If the U.S. dollar is trending up (short‑term avg > long‑term), buy a dollar fund (UUP/USDU); otherwise own the two most volatile of cash‑like T‑bills (BIL), semiconductors (SOXL), and commodities (DBC). About 40%: Short‑term “hot/cold” checks on the S&P 500—if it looks overheated, buy volatility (VIXY/UVXY); if it looks washed out, flip bull or bear on semis (SOXL/SOXS) using a quick bond check (BND, SHY, VTI). If neither, hold BTAL (defensive, market‑neutral).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is stronger and risk is better controlled vs the S&P: ~30.5% annualized return vs 22.3%; lower max drawdown (17.37% vs 18.76%); Calmar ~1.75—more growth with less downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
