About
A fast-moving strategy that swings between an aggressive chip-stock rebound bet, a bearish real-estate bet, or the strongest of 4 stocks based on recent performance.
Each day, the strategy asks 3 questions.
1) Have semiconductor stocks been knocked down lately? If yes, it buys SOXL, an aggressive fund that rises when chip stocks rebound.
2) If not, has the overall U.S. stock market gotten a bit too hot? If yes, it buys DRV, an aggressive fund that profits if real-estate stocks fall.
3) If neither is true, it picks the strongest recent performer from 4 stocks: Deere (DE), Eversource (ES), Nu Holdings (NU), or Tenaris (TS).
Out-of-sample edge: about 46% annualized return vs S&P 500 ~20%, Calmar ~1.22 signaling strong risk-adjusted upside. A regime-switching, momentum-driven approach targets fast gains; note drawdowns can be larger (~38%) during stress.
