A fast-moving strategy that focuses on the 5 most volatile big-name stocks, then buys dips, follows short-term trends, and sometimes hides in T-bills or bets against overheated names.
NutHow it works
Each day, the strategy looks at 11 well-known companies and picks the 5 whose prices have been moving around the most lately. For each one, it asks: has it fallen a lot recently? If yes, it buys a bullish version. If not, is it still in an uptrend? If yes, it buys that stock or a tech fund (VGT). If not, it may move to a cash-like fund (BIL) or, for some stocks, a bearish fund that benefits if the stock falls.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
