About

Daily, volatility-based rotation into five tech-focused assets using levered/inverse exposure and RSI/momentum rules, with cash hedges and daily rebalancing.
NutHow it works
A) Pick five assets from a tech-oriented universe that are most volatile over the last 14 days. B) For each asset, if its 14-day RSI is below 30, buy the levered long version of that asset (e.g., AAPL -> AAPB). C) If not, check whether tech-market momentum via VGT is favorable and use alternative signals to buy the asset. D) If signals aren’t favorable, hold cash (e.g., BIL) or a hedge. E) Weight the five chosen assets so about 70% of the portfolio is exposed distributed across them, and rebalance daily. F) Repeat every day, updating the five holdings based on the latest signals and volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 46.8% vs ~25% for the S&P; Calmar 1.73 signals stronger risk-adjusted gains despite ~27% max drawdown. Daily volatility-driven tech rotation with hedges aims for bigger, clearer upside than SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
