A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

Daily, it puts 70% into the 5 most volatile big names. It buys leveraged bull funds on deep dips, rides trends via VGT or the stock, and moves to T‑Bills or a simple 1x bear fund when momentum looks hot/weak.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks the 5 biggest movers (last 14 days) from a list of mega‑caps and splits 70% across them. For each: if it looks washed‑out (RSI<30) buy a 1.5–1.75x bull ETF on that stock; else if price > its 20‑day average, hold the tech fund VGT or the stock; else if not overheated (RSI<70) keep VGT/stock; else park in T‑Bills (BIL) or use a simple 1x bear ETF.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, aims for ~51%/yr vs ~26% for the S&P 500, with Calmar ~1.89 signaling solid risk-adjusted gains. It blends momentum, mean-reversion, and tactical leverage to capture tech swings, with risk controls in hot markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
