About

A daily, rules‑based “offense/defense” switcher. It rides strong tech/semiconductor moves with leveraged ETFs, hedges spikes with volatility or inverse funds, and always keeps a 10% core in SCHD, DBMF, and KMLM to smooth returns. Risk can be dialed down.
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads simple “hot/cold” gauges: RSI (a 0–100 speedometer), short‑term trends, and bond hints. Offense: if conditions look healthy, it concentrates in the strongest area—often 3x tech/semis (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL). Defense: if markets look stretched or shaky, it flips to hedges (UVXY, SQQQ/SOXS/TECS) or cash/Treasuries. A steady 10% stays in SCHD (dividends) and two diversifiers, DBMF and KMLM (managed‑futures ETFs).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher growth: 26.15% annualized vs 22.32% for the S&P, via offense/defense tech rotation with hedges and a 10% dividend core. Caveat: larger drawdowns (~35% vs ~19%), so higher risk tolerance is required.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
