About

Keeps a steady core in dividends and managed‑futures, while a daily rules engine swings between 3x tech ‘risk‑on’ bets and volatility/defensive hedges using simple hot/cold and trend checks from stocks, bonds and commodities.
NutHow it works
Two parts: (1) a core that’s always held: SCHD (US dividend stocks) plus two “managed‑futures” ETFs (DBMF, KMLM) that follow big trends in commodities, currencies and rates. (2) a daily rules engine that buys fast movers (3x tech/semi ETFs) on dips or strength and flips to hedges (VIX funds, inverse ETFs, bonds, dollar/commodities) when markets look “hot.” RSI = a quick “heat” score of recent up vs down days. Lower the 3x‑tech sleeve to reduce risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 26.4% vs SPY 22.3% annualized; lower beta (~0.78) with diversified hedges (managed futures, trends) and a dividend core for potentially higher long-run growth and inflation/rate resilience—though drawdowns may be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
