About

A daily, equal-weight basket of big-name stocks uses momentum and trend rules to take levered long or bear ETF positions, rebalanced every day to capture upside moves while hedging downside with ETF hedges.
NutHow it works
A daily-rebalanced, equal-weight portfolio of 10+ popular stocks uses two basic ideas to decide how to invest each day: (1) momentum signals (roughly: is the stock showing recent consistent strength or weakness) and (2) price context (is the price above a moving average, suggesting a positive trend). If momentum looks favorable (often via a low RSI reading suggesting a potential bounce) the system buys a levered long version of the stock (a bull ETF that magnifies moves). If momentum isn’t favorable or the trend looks weak, it may switch to or include a bear ETF to express a downside view. This process happens stock by stock, and every day the positions are rebalanced to keep an equal-weighted mix across all signals that remain valid. The result is a dynamic, levered tilt toward big winners on favorable momentum/trend, with hedges via bear ETFs when signals turn negative. Note: levered ETFs reset daily, so compounding can affect long-run results, and the BTC proxy (MSTR) adds crypto-linked exposure via a stock vehicle rather than direct Bitcoin investment.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
