About

Daily, it puts ~70% into the 5 most volatile big names, then, per name, switches between leveraged long single‑stock ETFs (if oversold), broad tech via VGT (if up/neutral), or safety via a 1x bear ETF or T‑Bills (if overheated). Tech‑tilted, high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it: - Ranks big, liquid U.S. stocks by 14‑day volatility and puts ~70% equally into the top 5. - For each pick it chooses the vehicle: • If ā€œoversoldā€ (RSI<30; a 0–100 drop/run‑up score), use a 1.5x–1.75x long ETF on that stock. • If price > its 20‑day average or neutral (RSI<70), use VGT (broad tech). • If ā€œoverboughtā€ (RSI≄70), use a 1x bear ETF or T‑Bills (BIL). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher upside than the S&P: ~46.8% annual return vs ~25.1% for SPY, with a Calmar ~1.73 and Sharpe ~1.31. Strong risk-adjusted growth; note larger drawdowns in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
