About

A volatility-first, signal-filtered picker of five assets from a tech/levered universe, rebalance daily, with near-equal weights. It targets sharp, volatile moves using RSI and moving-average signals to screen entrants.
NutHow it works
Here's how it works in plain language: - Start with a curated list of assets (stocks and levered/related ETFs). Exclude assets that conflict with other portfolios. - For each asset, run simple checks based on momentum indicators: one key rule looks at RSI over a 14-day window and flags an oversold condition (RSI below 30). If that condition hits, the asset becomes a candidate. - If the RSI condition isn’t met, the strategy checks other signals using how the asset’s price compares to a related tech ETF’s moving average or RSI (e.g., VGT and others) to decide if momentum is favorable. There are fallback checks that involve related bear/bull levered ETFs in some scenarios. - From all assets that pass these entry checks, measure how volatile each has been over the last 14 days (14-day standard deviation of returns). - Pick the five most volatile assets and invest in them with roughly equal weights (the design uses equal-weight mechanics within the chosen list). - Rebalance daily to reflect new signals and volatility rankings.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
