About

A daily switcher that uses bond‑market momentum (BIL vs UTEN) to decide between SOXL (3× long semiconductors) and SOXS (3× inverse). If 10‑year Treasuries are stronger, it shorts semis; otherwise it rides them. Extremely high risk due to 3× leverage.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares a 6‑day “speed score” (RSI, a 0–100 gauge of recent up vs down days) for two bond funds: BIL (ultra‑short T‑bills) and UTEN (10‑year Treasuries). If UTEN’s score is higher, it buys SOXS (3× inverse semiconductors). Otherwise it buys SOXL (3× long semiconductors). 100% in one or the other.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 63.4% annualized return vs SPY 23.1%, via a simple daily bond-momentum switch between 3x semiconductor ETFs. Higher risk and drawdowns (~88%), but strong upside for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
