About

Nasdaq-100 swing tactic: normally hold QQQ. After a 5‑day drop worse than −5%, either fade a sharp 1‑day bounce with QID (−2×) or, if no big bounce, ride a rebound with QLD (+2×). Daily checks; concentrated, high‑volatility exposure.
NutHow it works
It watches the Nasdaq-100 via QQQ. If QQQ fell more than 5% over the last 5 trading days, it goes tactical: if yesterday jumped more than +1%, it bets on another drop using QID (about 2× opposite QQQ); otherwise it bets on a rebound with QLD (about 2× QQQ). If that 5‑day drop didn’t happen, it just holds QQQ. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this Nasdaq-100 swing strategy targets higher upside with regime-driven bets. Annualized return ~32.8% vs S&P ~23.6%, Sharpe ~1.27 and Calmar ~1.17. Drawdowns can be larger (~28%), but it aims for tech-led alpha.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
