About

Daily switch: compare 7‑day momentum of BIL (T‑bills) vs BND (bonds). If bonds beat bills, go 3x short semiconductors (SOXS); else go 3x long semiconductors (SOXL). Always 100% in one ETF.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 7‑day RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent price strength) for two bond funds: BIL (very short‑term T‑bills, like cash) and BND (the broad U.S. bond market). If BIL’s RSI is lower than BND’s, it buys SOXS (3x inverse semiconductor stocks). Otherwise it buys SOXL (3x long semiconductors). 100% in one ETF; rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Edge: out-of-sample annualized return ~47.5% vs S&P ~20.8%, via daily 3x semiconductor bets timed by bond momentum. High-risk: potential drawdowns near 88% and greater volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
