About

Equal-weight 10 mega-cap S&P names. For each name: hold the stock if the trend is up or it just dipped; otherwise move that slice to BIL (short-term T‑Bills). Daily checks, no fixed rebalance; heavy tech tilt but can go partly to cash.
NutHow it works
Split money evenly across 10 big S&P 500 stocks (AAPL, MSFT, TSLA, META, GOOG, GOOGL, NVDA, BRK.A, AMZN, UNH). For each slice, own the stock when its trend is up (price above a moving average—the average of recent prices) or after a dip (RSI—a 0–100 up-vs-down score—is low). Otherwise park that slice in BIL (T‑Bills). Checked daily; no set rebalance date.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 36.8% annualized vs SPY 22.2%, Sharpe 1.69 vs 1.35, Calmar ~2.0, drawdown ~18.4%. Equal-weight mega-cap blend with a cash overlay reduces risk while preserving upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
