About

A fast, rules‑based portfolio that rides big tech/semiconductor uptrends with 3x ETFs, but shifts to cash, bonds, gold, USD, inverse ETFs, or VIX hedges when markets overheat, sell off, or trend down. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
It’s a rulebook that swaps between “offense” and “defense.” • Offense: when the S&P/Nasdaq trend is up, it rides 3x tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL). • Defense: when trends weaken or bonds flag trouble, it moves to cash/T‑bills, bonds, gold, USD, or 3x inverse funds (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS). • If prices look stretched (very hot or very cold), it adds VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY/VIXM/SVXY) to hedge. Several sub‑models “vote,” and the portfolio blends their picks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~46% annualized return vs ~19% for SPY; Sharpe ~1.17; Calmar ~2.55; max drawdown ~18% (slightly better than SPY). A rule-based offense/defense strategy targets tech leadership plus hedges for stronger, steadier growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
