About

Daily, volatility‑timed strategy. Mostly sits in cash (BIL). Buys UVXY when fear rises (not extreme), pivots to semis (SOXL) at peak fear, and in deep selloffs buys the most oversold 3× fund (SOXL/TECL/UPRO/TMF) using a simple 0–100 hot/cold score (RSI).
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads a 0–100 “hot/cold” score (RSI) for stocks (SPY = S&P 500) and fear (UVXY = VIX‑futures ETF). If stocks look washed‑out, it buys the most beaten‑down 3× fund: SOXL (semis), TECL (tech), UPRO (S&P), or TMF (long Treasuries). Otherwise, if fear is heating up (but not red‑hot), it buys UVXY; if fear is extreme, it splits between SOXL and cash (BIL = T‑bills). With no signal, it parks in BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Volatility-timed, cash-lean strategy using RSI signals to buy oversold 3× ETFs. Out-of-sample: 36.1% annualized vs 23.1% S&P; Sharpe 2.10 vs 1.27; max drawdown 2.5% vs 18.8%; Calmar ~14.5. Higher return, lower risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
