About

Daily, tech‑heavy, tactical strategy. It usually rides the Nasdaq‑100 with 3x TQQQ, but when QQQ looks extremely hot it pivots to UVXY to bet on a volatility pop. In weak trends it may buy 3x tech/semis, or switch to 3x short (SQQQ) or short‑term bonds (BSV).
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ) looks extremely “hot” using RSI over many timeframes. If yes, it buys UVXY (a volatility play) expecting a pullback. If not: it holds TQQQ when the long‑term trend is up; if not, it tries oversold bounces in TECL or SOXL. If short‑term trend is weak, it picks SQQQ or BSV, else goes back to TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech-heavy, leverage-driven strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: Sharpe 1.56 vs 0.80, alpha +0.59%, Calmar 3.37, annualized return +124.7% vs +14.8%. Note higher drawdown risk, but compelling tech-cycle upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
