About
A daily, rules-based, tech-heavy strategy using 3x ETFs. It usually rides TQQQ in uptrends, buys TECL/SOXL on sharp dips, rotates to SQQQ or bonds in weak markets, and buys UVXY when QQQ looks overheated to bet on a quick pullback/volatility spike. Very risky.
It checks QQQ’s “speedometer” (RSI) over many time frames. If it looks very hot, it shifts part (or all) into UVXY (a volatility bet).
Otherwise: if TQQQ is above its 200‑day average, hold TQQQ. If not, buy TECL or SOXL only when deeply oversold. If the short‑term trend breaks, rotate to SQQQ or short‑term bonds. It equal‑weights the active signals and rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample: ~107% annualized return vs ~15% for the S&P 500; Sharpe ~1.46 vs ~0.83; Calmar ~2.89; max drawdown ~37% vs ~19%. Higher upside with volatility hedges and trend‑following risk controls.
