About
UVXY momentum drives a one-time, equal-weight rotation into a prioritized ETF list; if UVXY is extreme, cash goes into the first qualifying ETF (or SPY as fallback) with no frequent rebalancing.
If UVXY shows very strong short-term momentum (RSI > 79 on a 10-day lookback), the system tests a priority list of ETFs (QQQE, VTV, VOX, TECL, VOOG, VOOV, XLP, TQQQ, XLY, FAS, SPY). The first asset in the list that meets the rule gets allocated cash equally with any others that qualify. If none qualify, SPY is used. There is no automatic rebalancing; changes are infrequent and bounded by a small corridor width (0.1).
Out-of-sample results show this strategy beating SPY on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe roughly 1.42 vs 1.05, annualized return ~70% vs ~18%, and Calmar about 2.96. Expect higher drawdowns (~24% vs ~19%), but with volatility-driven ETF rotation for diversification.
