A two-position strategy: hold SPY most of the time, but switch to UVXY when many stock market signals suggest prices have gotten too overheated in the short term.
NutHow it works
This strategy is basically a market heat detector. It checks whether several stock-market areas have risen too far, too fast over the last 10 trading days using RSI, a 0–100 “temperature gauge” of recent price strength. If any of them look overheated, it buys UVXY, a very aggressive fund that tends to jump when market fear spikes. If none look overheated, it simply holds SPY, which tracks the S&P 500.
