About

A fast, high-risk, daily strategy: buy semis/tech on dips, grab short bursts of volatility (UVIX) when the market is overbought, and switch to hedges or Treasuries when bond/commodity signals flash risk-off.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily-switching plan built to swing hard. Most days it rides semiconductors/tech (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL). If the market looks overheated, it briefly buys “fear” (UVIX) expecting a pullback. If stocks are washed out, it buys the dip—unless bonds say risk-off, then it flips to hedges (SOXS/SQQQ) or Treasuries (TMF/TMV). Bond and commodity cues decide when to play offense or defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-octane tech/semis strategy with macro hedges delivering ~58% annualized out-of-sample return vs SPY ~21%, Calmar ~1.10—meaningful risk-adjusted edge. Note higher drawdowns (~53% vs ~19%) for substantially larger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
