About

A rules‑driven, tech‑tilted strategy that tries to ride uptrends and step aside in turmoil by watching short‑term “heat,” volatility, and trend. It rotates among QQQ, Treasuries, cash, volatility hedges, and inverse funds. Uses leveraged/volatility ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
It splits money 70/30 across two rule sets. 70%: Rides Nasdaq/tech when conditions are calm, but if short‑term “heat” (RSI, a 0–100 hot/cold score) is high or drops are sharp, it quickly shifts to hedges: volatility funds (VIX), Treasuries, cash, or a barbell of QQQ + BTAL (a market‑neutral hedge) + a calm defensive pick. 30%: A Nasdaq timer: owns QQQ in uptrends (price above the 200‑day average), and flips to cash/bonds or inverse Nasdaq in downtrends. Extreme overbought/oversold readings nudge it to de‑risk or buy dips.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rule-based, tech-tilt strategy with built-in hedges. It provides diversification with a low beta (~0.57 to SPY) and disciplined risk controls. It may underperform the S&P in bull markets, but it can reduce drawdowns and volatility in turbulence.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
