About

Owns recent winners across stocks, bonds, gold, commodities, and the US dollar, plus a tactical sleeve that buys big‑tech on deep dips or shifts defensive. Uses risk‑based sizing and trades only when positions drift significantly.
NutHow it works
Two sleeves. 1) Momentum (~65%): buys the 2 best performers over ~6 months from SPY (US stocks), TLT (long US Treasuries), GLD (gold), SHV (T‑bills), DBC (commodities), UUP (US dollar). 2) Tactical (~30%): if QQQ (big tech) just fell hard, it either buys QQQ when deeply oversold (RSI, a 0–100 pressure gauge, is very low) or uses a defensive mix (gold/treasuries/dollar). In calm times, it holds a risk‑balanced blend of QQQ+TLT (steadier assets get more). Trades only when weights drift ~10%.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.83 vs 1.48 and max drawdown ~7% vs ~19%. Stronger risk‑adjusted performance and calmer downside with diversified momentum and tactical hedging—aimed at resilient, smoother growth vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
