About

Daily, rules-driven portfolio rotating across stocks, bonds, commodities and currencies. Uses trends, hot/cold readings (RSI), volatility and relative strength to pick or hedge positions. Includes leveraged ETFs and crash hedges; high risk, active.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based, daily-updated portfolio that shifts across stocks, bonds, commodities, and some currencies. It reads: - Trend: price vs its average (above = uptrend; below = downtrend). - “Heat” (RSI): a 0–100 gauge of how hot/cold a move is (hot > ~70; cold < ~30). - Volatility: how wild prices swing; rising/falling tells if a trend may change. - Relative strength: compares related funds (e.g., front-month vs 12‑month oil/gas; stocks vs bonds). It then picks or hedges positions (often with leveraged ETFs) to ride trends, fade extremes, and manage risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~36% annualized return vs ~15% for the S&P 500, higher risk-adjusted Sharpe (1.23 vs 0.83) and Calmar ~1.25. Diversified, trend-driven, multi-asset tilts with crash hedges—aimed at stronger growth with active risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
