About

A daily switcher: when markets look overextended, it buys crash insurance (UVXY). Otherwise, in risk‑on it concentrates in NVDA. If signals are mixed, it uses bond/credit “traffic lights” to place short‑term contrarian trades; else it parks in T‑bills.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if big stock funds/sectors look “too hot” over ~2 weeks (an RSI score near 80). If yes, it buys UVXY, a fund that jumps when markets fall. If not, and tech/market look washed out (RSI < 30) or the S&P 500 is in an uptrend (above its 200‑day average), it buys NVDA. If neither, it reads bond/credit moves (HYG, TLT, SHY, LQD, etc.) as risk signals, then makes a short‑term contrarian pick among volatility, semis, gold, or Treasuries. If no signal, it holds T‑bills (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims to outperform the S&P: ~40% annualized return vs ~17%; Calmar ~1.37; Sharpe ~0.88. It uses hedges (UVXY, NVDA focus, bonds) to manage risk, though max drawdown can be higher (~29%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
