About

Rules‑based strategy that reads the bond market to set risk, buys dips in high‑beta (often 3x tech/semis), hedges overheated markets with VIX or bears, and rotates to Treasuries, cash‑like, managed futures or currencies in risk‑off to compound returns.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Read the bond market to set risk‑on vs risk‑off (short T‑bills vs longer Treasuries; long‑term trends). Step 2: Use RSI (a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent moves) and short‑term momentum to act: buy strong high‑beta funds on washouts; buy VIX or turn bearish when overheated. Step 3: In risk‑off or big rate moves, rotate to Treasuries, cash‑like, managed‑futures or dollar/currency plays. Examples: SOXL/TQQQ/TECL (3x growth), UPRO/SPXL (3x S&P), TMF/TMV (3x bonds), UVXY/VIXY (VIX).
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic regime-switching strategy targets ~26% annualized out-sample returns vs S&P 500 ~20%, with risk controls via bonds, volatility hedges, and leveraged bets. Higher upside and diversification, though drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
