About

A daily regime-based, leverage-heavy strategy mixing volatility hedges and tech/semiconductor bets to ride big market moves while using hedges to manage risk.
NutHow it works
Every trading day the system assesses how volatile the market is and which regime that suggests. It then picks a small set of assets from groups like volatility hedges (UVXY, VIXY, VIXM), currency/bond/commodity hedges (UUP, SHY, DBC, VIXM), tech/semiconductors (SOXL, SOXS, SMH, TSM, NVDA, AMD, INTC, etc.), and broad market plays (SPY, SPXL, TQQQ). It ranks candidates by how strong their price action has been recently and overweight a couple of the best ideas, usually with leverage to amplify moves. It also uses hedges to limit losses in bad markets. The approach is modular and regime-driven, meaning the exact bets change as market conditions shift. It rebalances daily and includes checks to avoid common pitfalls that can trap leverage strategies in choppy markets.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, it matches SPY’s ~23.7% annual return with a regime-driven, leverage strategy that targets big tech moves and uses hedges to cap losses, delivering diversified risk and upside beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
