About

A simple switch: when short-term bonds look stronger than an inverse Nasdaq fund, load up on TSLA and a Bitcoin proxy (MSTR). When stress rises, shift mostly to cash-like T‑bills (BIL) and an income-focused Nasdaq ETF (JEPQ).
NutHow it works
Every check, it compares recent 20-day “strength” of short-term bonds (BSV) to an inverse Nasdaq fund (SQQQ). If bonds look stronger, it goes risk-on: TSLA 40%, MSTR 40%, JEPQ 10%, BIL 10%. Otherwise it goes defensive: JEPQ 40%, BIL 40%, TSLA 10%, MSTR 10%. No fixed rebalancing.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~31.6% annualized vs SPY's ~20.2%, achieved by a simple risk-on/risk-off switch with TSLA/MSTR exposure and ballast in BIL/JEPQ. Higher upside but larger drawdowns than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
