About

A rules-based, risk-on/risk-off portfolio. In uptrends it leans into tech (sometimes with leverage). When markets overheat or weaken, it shifts to cash-like funds, BTAL, VIX hedges, managed futures (KMLM), commodities, gold, and Treasuries.
NutHow it works
First it asks: are stocks trending up (price above long-term average) and is credit healthy (riskier bonds beating safer ones)? If yes, it owns growth (often tech); if markets get “hot,” it adds hedges. If no, it moves to cash-like funds, BTAL, VIX funds, gold/commodities, KMLM, and Treasuries. It uses RSI (a hot/cold gauge) to trim or buy dips.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
