About

A weekly, travel-focused portfolio that mixes short-term momentum with a safety valve: cruises/Disney rotate into cash-like T‑bills if trends weaken, airlines favor calmer stocks, and online travel and gambling pick recent winners.
NutHow it works
Every week the portfolio splits: 30% Leisure, 30% Airlines, 30% Travel Tech, 10% Gambling. Leisure: each of 5 names is held only if its ~2‑week price trend is up; otherwise that slice parks in BIL (a T‑bill ETF). Airlines: holds the 2 least‑bumpy stocks from 9 airlines (last month). Travel Tech: holds the 2 best performers over the past week. Gambling: holds the 4 best performers over the past week.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this travel/leisure momentum strategy beats the S&P with higher risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~9.92 vs ~4.45), smaller drawdowns (1.43% vs 1.97%), and lower beta (~0.86)—delivering more upside with less risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
