About

A rules-based switch: buy leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ/QLD) in uptrends or after sharp selloffs, but pivot to VIX hedges and safe assets (BOXX, short Treasuries, gold, diversifiers) when volatility spikes or bond/yield‑curve signals warn of risk.
NutHow it works
Runs in 3 modes. 1) Crash: if tech looks euphoric or starts tanking (10‑day RSI extreme, big ± moves), it buys fear funds (UVXY/VIXY/VIXM) or parks in BOXX (cash‑like), SHY/SHV (short Treasuries), GLD, DBMF/BTAL. 2) Offense: if trend is up (QQQ > 25‑day avg) or after sharp dips (RSI < ~32), it buys leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ/QLD). 3) Defense: if bonds lead or the yield curve inverts (IEF vs TLT), it favors BOXX/safe‑havens. RSI = 0–100 heat; MA = trendline.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic rules-based strategy targets Nasdaq upside with hedges. OOS annualized return: 23.65% vs SPY 22.07%; but larger drawdowns (~44% vs ~19%) and lower Sharpe (~0.68 vs ~1.31). Suited for growth-focused, risk-aware investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
