About

A rules-driven switcher: ride Nasdaq uptrends with leveraged QQQ, buy sharp dips, and in storms pivot to cash-like BOXX, safe-havens, and VIX “airbags.” Bond and yield-curve signals add an extra brake to step aside when risk rises.
NutHow it works
Daily rules use two simple meters: a short-term “hot/cold” meter (RSI) and a 5-week trend line (25-day average). If trend up → hold leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ/QLD). After quick drops → buy the dip. If a crash/fear spike → switch to VIX funds (UVXY/VIXM/SVXY) and “safe-havens” (GLD=gold, XLP=staples, DBMF=managed-futures, UUP=US$ and SHY/SHV=T-bills). If bonds lead or the yield curve warns → sit in BOXX (cash-like) and defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based strategy targets higher upside (about 25.5% annualized vs 22.6% for the S&P) by riding leveraged Nasdaq in uptrends, buying dips, and shifting to cash-like hedges and bonds when risk rises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
