About

A daily, contrarian, tech‑focused strategy. After huge 10‑day moves it bets on a snap‑back using 3x Nasdaq ETFs (TQQQ/SQQQ). If not extreme, it buys 3x tech (TECL) only when oversold; otherwise it parks in short‑term bonds (BSV). High risk.
NutHow it works
Uses four ETFs: TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100 up), SQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100 down), TECL (3x tech up), BSV (short‑term bonds). Chosen to target big‑tech swings; BSV is the parking spot. Daily rules: if TQQQ rose >31% in 10 days, switch to SQQQ. Else if SQQQ rose >25%, switch to TQQQ. Else if TQQQ’s RSI <31 (very oversold), buy TECL. Otherwise hold BSV. Always 100% in one holding.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~37.5% annualized return vs ~20% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.55. Higher upside but larger drawdowns than the S&P; solid risk-adjusted performance overall.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
