About
Own QQQ in uptrends, step to T‑bills when markets look overheated. In downtrends, rotate among QQQ, SPY, PSQ (inverse Nasdaq), or TLT based on short‑term “heat” and trend signals. Signals are read from leveraged ETFs, but holdings stay unlevered.
Daily steps:
1) Big trend check: If SPY is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), hold QQQ (big tech). If very “hot” short‑term readings (RSI = short‑term heat meter) on TQQQ or SPXL, park in BIL (T‑bills) instead.
2) If SPY is below its 200‑day (downtrend): if panic (very low RSI) on TQQQ or SPY, buy QQQ or SPY. Otherwise, if short‑term trend is weak, hold the stronger of PSQ (up when Nasdaq falls) or TLT (long Treasuries). If not, hold QQQ. Uses TQQQ/SQQQ only as thermometers, never as holdings.
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500: about 21.5% annualized vs 16.5%, Sharpe ~1.00 vs ~0.95, and similar drawdowns, by unlevered holdings and disciplined trend/risk timing.
