About

A daily swing strategy for the Nasdaq: owns 3x long (TQQQ) in healthy uptrends, flips to short (PSQ/SQQQ) when moves look overheated or panic rises, and parks in income funds (JEPQ/YieldMax) during choppy, higher‑risk regimes.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks one fund. Goal: ride Nasdaq uptrends (TQQQ=3x long) but defend or profit in pullbacks (PSQ=-1x short, SQQQ=3x short) and earn income when choppy (JEPQ=Nasdaq stocks with option income; sometimes YieldMax single‑stock income ETFs). It looks at: bond trend (TLT vs 200‑day), volatility spikes (UVXY/VIX), semis momentum (SOXL), recent SPY/QQQ moves. If trend strong: TQQQ. If overheated or spikes: flip short. If risk/inflation high: park in JEPQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Nasdaq-focused strategy aims for 34.85% annualized return vs SPY's 23.41%, with Calmar ~1.20 and built-in hedges (PSQ/SQQQ) plus income overlays (JEPQ/YieldMax) to cushion drawdowns. Higher upside, managed risk vs S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
