About

A daily, rules-based switcher: ride Nasdaq‑100 uptrends with TQQQ; rotate to defensive Utilities/Staples (XLU/XLP) when overheated or weak; flip to UVXY on extreme heat and to TQQQ on deep dips. QQQ = Nasdaq‑100, TQQQ = 3×, UVXY = volatility.
NutHow it works
Daily checks. - If TQQQ’s 5‑day RSI > 80 (RSI = 0–100 gauge of recent speed; high = hot, low = cold) → hold UVXY (tends to jump when fear/vol spikes). - Else use trend: if QQQ > its 50‑day average, hold TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100) unless RSI14 > 70, then hold the weaker of XLU/XLP (defensive Utilities/Staples). If QQQ < 50‑day, hold that weaker defensive unless TQQQ’s RSI10 < 30, then buy TQQQ for a bounce.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results lag the S&P: -31.6% annualized return, deep drawdowns, negative Calmar. This is a high-risk tactical sleeve, not a core allocation. Use only as a crisis hedge/diversifier with strict risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
