About

A daily, rules-based tech‑tilted strategy that rides QQQ/TQQQ in uptrends, flips briefly to a volatility hedge when things get too “hot,” and in weak markets either buys the dip or rotates to inverse QQQ or bonds based on recent strength.
NutHow it works
It splits your money into 3 parts: an unleveraged sleeve (QQQ), a leveraged sleeve (TQQQ), and a “HolyGrail” sleeve. Each day it checks trend and heat/cold levels using simple rules. If the Nasdaq trend is up, it holds QQQ/TQQQ—unless things look extremely “hot,” then it briefly switches to UVXY (a volatility hedge). If the trend is down, it either buys the dip (QQQ/TQQQ) when things look washed out, or moves to either inverse QQQ or bonds (it picks the one holding up best).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~71% vs S&P ~14%, Sharpe ~1.19 vs ~0.95, Calmar ~4.17. Nasdaq-tech, rules-based strategy with hedges and rotations. Higher upside with disciplined risk; occasional larger drawdowns in volatile regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
